1 The agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TRANSSPEED Zambia operations platform — the web application, client portal, mobile install (PWA) and connected alert services — operated by TRANSSPEED Zambia of Katete, Eastern Province, Republic of Zambia ("TRANSSPEED", "we", "us").

By signing in, creating an account, or using any part of the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you use the platform on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company, and "you" means that company. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2 The service

The platform is a business operations system for weighbridge and cross-border logistics. Depending on your access level it may include:

Features may be added, changed or removed over time. Core records you have entered remain exportable as described in section 7.

3 Accounts, roles & access

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done under your account. Choose strong passwords, sign out on shared devices, and tell the Super Admin immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. Password resets for staff and clients are performed by the Super Admin or the TRANSSPEED office in Katete.

The platform records an audit trail (sign-ins and key actions) which you acknowledge and accept as part of normal operation.

4 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend access where we reasonably believe this section has been breached.

5 Your data & records

Operational data you enter (tickets, clients, invoices, payroll, bank and cash records, documents and similar) remains your business data. You grant us the right to store and process it solely to operate the platform for you.

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the data you enter, and for ensuring you have the right to record personal data of staff and clients on the platform. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

6 Alerts & third-party services

Optional notification features rely on third parties:

These features are optional and can be switched off at any time in the relevant settings pages. We are not responsible for the availability or acts of third-party networks, but we only enable them at your request.

7 Availability & backups

We aim for high availability but the platform is provided "as is" and "as available". Maintenance, hosting or network failures may interrupt access. Built-in backup and export tools (CSV/Excel exports and full database backups) are provided, and you should use them regularly — keeping your own periodic backups is the surest protection against any data loss.

8 Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Zambian law: we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including lost profit, lost contracts, fines or penalties arising from figures entered into, or calculated by, the platform. You remain responsible for verifying weighbridge readings, payroll figures, tax computations and statutory filings before relying on them.

Our total liability for any claim connected with the platform is limited to the fees (if any) you paid for platform access in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9 Termination

You may stop using the platform at any time, and the Super Admin may remove individual accounts. We may suspend or end platform access for breach of these Terms or unlawful use. On termination we will, on request and where reasonably practicable, provide an export of your stored business data before it is deleted from active systems.

10 Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version, and material changes will be flagged inside the platform. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

11 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. The courts of Zambia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, and we will aim to resolve disagreements amicably first — talk to us before anything else.
